The children at Harrow School, Bangkok go shark mad…and they still are!!!

Now in Khao Lak we will be doing regular presentations on land, providing information to educate divers on boats, promoting local shark conservation activities and keep locals updated of worldwide shark news and events through Khao Lak Wired.

With a Dubai and UK tour later in the year and more presentations scheduled in Phuket, Bangkok and Chiang Mai, it’s going to be another busy season for Shark Guardian.

Thailand's Vegetarian Festival is celebrated all around the Khao Lak area. Many of the local community participate in the festival. Towards the end of September 2014 it will be common to see a lot of residents dressed in white, as is customary during the Vegetarian Festival. Around town the Mah Song (devotees who invite the god’s spirits to possess their bodies) will be leading prossessions and calling to bless houses where offerings are made.
